Workshop Recap:
Reset Your Nervous System & Stress Hormones
We had an incredible workshop this month with guest speakers Rachel Yeager, N.D. – Holistic health coach and educator, and our very own Registered Dietitian, Sarah Stuart.
Rachel took us through a lesson on our nervous system and how the health of our body directly affects the health of our brain. When one piece is struggling, the other is sure to follow, and Rachel equipped us with practices to re-center our system for a happier, healthier mind and body.
Sarah discussed the importance of nutrition to fuel our bodies so that we are able to live, work, and sleep better. We reviewed what different vitamins actually do for our bodies, and Sarah provided specific examples of how to incorporate nutrient-rich food into our lives.
We wrapped up with a Q & A session, building on different factors that can contribute to health flare ups, food sources versus supplements, and more. Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to a meaningful discussion!
