My work focuses on areas such as trauma, serious mental illness, depression, and anxiety, and extends to those grappling with addiction and navigating the criminal justice system.
Over the years, I have developed expertise in treating a broad spectrum of issues, including behavioral problems, emotional disturbance, family conflict, stress, substance use, and mental health concerns specific to veterans, such as trauma and depression. I am committed to guiding clients through their unique journeys toward healing and growth, providing a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for self-exploration.
My approach is tailored to individual needs, utilizing a variety of evidence-based modalities including Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Compassion Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Systems Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. These techniques support clients in managing complex emotions, behavioral issues, and life transitions, ultimately helping them rediscover joy and resilience. Having worked extensively with clients experiencing trauma, addiction, mental health challenges, and those adjusting within their communities, I strive to foster an environment that encourages openness and vulnerability.
My ultimate goal is to empower individuals to identify and work through their personal obstacles so they can achieve greater well-being and fulfillment.
